Guys, I just need to squee alittle so bear with me, OK?

1.

Friday morning I roadtripped to New Hampshire with an old friend and a new one to partake in an investigation of the Spaulding Inn with Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson of T.A.P.S. and the sci-fi show "GhostHunters". This is the three of us out front (I'm in the middle, and am not freakishly tall, they are freakishly short)

This is me with the guys, and I can't say enough about how down to earth and available they were for everyone. When we got there they were out snowmobiling and pretended to run us down, stopped and chatted, and inwardly we're all three having a freakout moment, but it was a good ice breaker. Then the three of us (cause we were there kinda early) sat and watched the Spaulding Inn episode on the big screen in the commonroom and Grant came and sat on the couch with us and did funny behind the scenes commentary for the whole ep, while Jason and my friend Mindy tried to get the fire going in the woodstove. It was surreal. We had a dinner in the big ballroom, what I will loosely call a meet-n-greet but really was just a time to hunt down the guys for pics and asking them to sign all our stuff, but they were just walking around and chatting, it wasn't like we were in a line or anything. There were 24 people, we broke down into two groups, and split between the carriage house and the main hotel wing. We were more or less given free reign, and lots of people had their own equipment (I came only with my mini-maglight ala Dean Winchester, all I needed was a gun). There was an "evidence reveal" which was mostly everyone recapping their stories in the pub and getting pretty drunk, the guys included. We abstained and snuck back out into the carriage house with some guys we met that had a K2 meter and did evp stuff until the wee hours. Heard an awesome breath and caught it on our recorders.

Slept for 3 hours running our voice recorder and listened to 3 hours of me snoring on the drive home:)

It was amazing and fun as shit, and if you look closely at the pic you'll notice the shirt I made for the occasion featuring the lady in white from SPN pilot and the Impala...I couldn't ghosthunt without my boys.

2. I came home to a successful VCR recording of show (thanks to my son) and groggily watched Dean die AGAIN and Sammy get his groove back. It's happy making.

3. I ate frosting shots from the Cupcakery in North Conway NH, I mean for realz, what is better than that.

4. Sunday my sweetie took me to Portland ME to see Dashboard Confessional. 10th Anniv. tour of Swiss Army Romance. Just Chris Carrabba singing the album in it's acoustic entirity. There is only one group I love more than D/C and that's the Cure, but this is like apples and oranges, Sam and Dean...The sheer amount of love I have for Chris is not to be taken lightly (much like my love for Sam) just because of the amazing reality that defies all logic that is Robert Smith (much like Dean). So that being made clear, we're having some sorta noreaster/tropical stormlike mess with torrential rain and wind and 1 hour before the show (which is general admission) I am the SECOND person in line....and because of that I am safely under the canopy at the front door. Now the door is opening and they scan my ticket, I calmly walk in the theater, calmly walk to the stage, calmly stand in front of the mic stand. WTF?????I mean WTF? R U Kidding me right now? I am waiting for security to tell me to move, I am waiting to be shuffled behind a rope.

No, I have the best "standing seat" in the whole place leaning against the stage in front of the mic stand (i've said all this aready right?)....insert sketchy phone pics here...

top of my head with Chris in the background

I don't care how bad these are, I just had a private concert from Chris Carraba, singing nothing but favorite songs, while I stroked the leg of his mic stand. At one point he stepped out in front and almost stomped on my hand. I couldn't decide whether or not to move it. I was slightly willing to sacrifice a finger of two.

*sigh* I need to go recover and think about Christmas things. It is coming after all.

Am wondering if I'm going to die. In 4 months I went to Vancon and got my hands on Jensen, ghosthunted with TAPS, and had musical sex with Chris Carraba. It's like getting everything I ever wanted.

Share away Moonz, of course. I love Ryan from Paranormal too!!! Ahhhh...I really couldn't believe how normal and available the guys were just to chat and hang out and drink beer with everyone. Just between us, Grant was pretty drunk :) and he's a chatty drunk. They were so fun.

Wow, that was an epic weekend! I loved your Robert Smith/Dean comparison. That's how I am with Jack White - he can do NO wrong in my opinion (like Dean). I'm glad you had such a good time, that's awesome!

Awweee...thanks for reading thru all my blabble. I'm still a bit tingly inside. Jack White huh? Hmmm, The White Stripes, I have 3 of their songs from Elephant on my ipod, so random, I'm not very familiar. Perhaps I will remedy that:)

I love the White Stripes, they're my favorite band. If you like the songs on your iPod, check out their other albums - Get Behind Me Satan and Icky Thump have some great songs. His other bands The Raconteurs and Dead Weather are good too but definitely not as popular.

I'm not that familiar with Dashboard Confessional. I've heard them probably because I'm sure BRU (the alternative rock station here) plays them. I'll have to borrow an album from the library and check them out.

I'll do that. Dashboard's alittle emo...'The Place You Have Come to Fear the Most' is an classic...but I would say they're all comparably wonderful. I'm biased.

Ghost Hunting

I just came across your journal and just wanted to say hey! I am a huge fan of the show, and am hoping that the guys have another ghost hunting event at their inn later this year so that I can go.

Mind if I add you to my friends list? I love talking about the boys!

I write fan fiction, I don't know if you're into that at all (a lot of it is NC-17), but I'm also on Twitter.

And, since I'm also massively in love with Grant, I'm uber-jealous that you got to see him drunk and totally uncensored. ;) Any pictures of that?

Hey!!!You just made me laugh out loud!

"I write fan fiction, I don't know if you're into that at all"

Sweetie, all I do is read porny fic all day :) I'm an UBER 'Supernatural'
fan, Sam/Dean shipper? Do you know the show, the hotness that is the Winchester brothers? perhaps I can convert you!

So, anyhoo, yay!, I'd love to read your Jay/Grant, I'm intrigued. I'm kind of a Steve and Tango girl myself, I can't help it.. I find them infinately entertaining and cute. And I will chat boys and show with you til the cows come home...I'll have to peruse my pics and see what funny candids I have, but I'm not exagerating, Grant was slurring his words. The guys were great tho, I had the best time.

So, Paranormal State? Yes, No? I love that too...
