It's spn J2 Big Bang art post part deux!

PHEW!~ I made it. My foray into Big Bang art is complete. My second project was for the trusting soul alakewood. I chose her story "Learning to Love Again", a sweet little mpreg curtain fic that just melted my heart. Go read it, seriously. She's such a talented writer. I have never read an a/b/o fic that has such a wholesome sweet quality to it.

For this art set I used a ton of reference photos,( I'd like to thank google image search), created line drawings, and subsequent embroidery patterns. I found out how difficult NOT messing up a face is, especially the ones we know and love so well. Seriously you guys, one little thread too
much and WHO IS THAT? And I got to bring to life an original character with Jared's daughter Katelyn, my favorite little girl in fic ever. And of course I played with fabric and watercolor and tried to create something that felt warm and soft and homey. I hope I succeeded.

...and as a little bonus art, there is a scene in the story in which Katelyn brings home a drawing of her family. I wanted so badly for this to be a part of the art. I found out it is VERY difficult to draw childlike. So I enlisted my wife's help. She has other strengths that are not artistic, bless her heart, and I gave her the description and this is what she created for me. I couldn't NOT include it.♥

I like the fact that Harley's tail looks like the first blade. Well to be honest, there are so MANY things, so so many.

....and lastly, there is mention of one purple striped cat with the name of Mr. Whiskers in the story. I of course enlisted my best friend google image search to look for the perfect stuffed cat. I found one. The VERY NEXT DAY, I'm not even kidding, I went to an estate sale and the exact cat was there for sale. It goes without saying I spent 6$ and I now have an official Big Bang mascot to sit and judge me. He is a JellyCat? *shrug* I have no idea, but it must be a thing, for me to have found one on "the goog".

thank you for loving it! I was so itching to do alittle mpreg. Unfortunately there are no mpreg sex scenes in it or I was so going NC-17 with that. You know I was. I love Jensen's jelly bracelets, I mean I had to do the man jewelry. How could I resist. Wendy's drawing, she just said "you aren't telling people I did that are you?" me- um I can't let people think "I" did it, lol.

To answer your question...well, I currently have my house on the market and everything packed up, so honestly, they are just rolled up in my sewing basket. I DO have some favorites and they might end up displayed in my sewing room eventually. I tend to be quite attatched to the banner pieces, maybe I'll toss the others into a fandom auction or something???

Lovely work. I'm so impressed with you doing needlework art for the story. The cat you found is amazeballs, and it was clearly meant to be.
