This weather system is really throwing me for a loop. I've had a death in my family, someone very close to me, unexpected. My family is in Delaware, I am in Maine, this storm system is keeping us apart. I just want to be down there so I can be there for them. It's so hard to know what to do. We almost left last night, but to drive thru the night tired and right into the icy storm seemed bad. Now it's about to hit us. But at least we'll just have snow. To really wait out the storm would be Friday night and clean up down there realistically takes forever. I need to get there.

I think we may leave this afternoon and at least we know we can get half way and if we have to stop and stay somewhere we will. It seems the best choice. AAAAAAAAAA. At least the three of us are together come what may.

Just seeing this now.... I hope you were able to stay in touch with your family in DE if not actually get there to be with them. I'm sorry for your loss. *hugs* Officially the worst month ever.

we braved the storm and went for it. Our usual 10hr drive took 17 and the NJ turnpike (which I found out later was in a state of emergency) looked like the apocalypse. No one on the road, just us and a family trying to get to Disney World, seriously.

You would definitely know, the WORST month ever. I am so so sorry. *hugs again*
