KILLING TIME WITH A MEME
Aug. 29th, 2013 11:46 am1. You have 50 dollars in your pocket, what do you do with it?
gas up the ghost and go for a long drive
2. What's the worst movie you've ever seen?
the Cube
3. Have you ever seen someone die?
I've done that twice, my mother & recently a friend who's family couldn't be there
4. Describe a favorite memory.
When I was a teenager we took a trip to Florida to visit family, all I wanted was to go to Sea World, on the way home my parents stopped ....they didn't have enough money for us to all go in so they sat in the car in the parking lot for the whole day and sent my little brother and I. It was magical for me, I made my brother sit thru EVERY SINGLE ORCA SHOW. The whale is in my blood, I have never been happier. I'm quite sure I looked like Sam in the fireworks scene.
5. If you could choose one place on earth to live, where would that be?
Maine, but about 40minutes northwest of where I am, on Cold Stream Pond (which is not a pond but a deep deep spring fed lake)
6. What's the name of the song that's stuck in your head right now?
Me & Bobby McGee....thanks
7. Did you have braces?
Nope, I am blessed with perfectly straight teeth. although my dentist says they are small smooth and flat and constantly questions my ethnicity.
8. What is the last book you bought?
The Ocean at the End of the Lane-Neil Gaiman.....I ran to the bookstore the day it came out
9. Is there anything that has made you unhappy recently?
my heart and the fact that it apparently cannot beat in appropriate rhythms.....
Dear Atrium and Ventricle,
I do not enjoy the either of your extra beats or contractions. If you are competing against each other
could you please call a truce already. I miss my coffee.
10. What do you want most in life?
To see my son grow into a man....and in the future, grandchildren
11. Are you in love?
with both my partner and a fictional character, yes :P
12. Fiction, Non-fiction, or both?
FICTION!!!! wait, unless I categorize J2 RPF as non-fiction, and I kinda sometimes do, lol
13. What does your Livejournal name mean?
ummmmmm......meesa is from the "new" StarWars, I was on a kick where I liked to talk like JarJar Binks, "Meesa don't understand why everyone hate's when I talk like this"...my son was little and he started calling me Meesa instead of Momma. The "Sometimes" is from a favorite book and song of mine called "Charolette Sometimes", the song is by the Cure and the book is about a time travelling little girl.
14. What kind of person do you think you are?
I'm a bit eccentric and passionate verging on obsessive. I am faithful and trustworthy and LOVE my close friendships.
15. Do you believe there is nothing higher than human kind?
??? I believe in power of belief.
16. Which fictional character could you most see yourself marrying?
Anyone reading this KNOWS I'm saying Dean Winchester....but I respect the OTP and Sam is more than welcome to live with us.
It just so happens I LIVE to do laundry and those boys need their clothes washed by a professional *points to self*, and Sam and I will play scrabble while Dean is getting dirty under the car. And, NO, I've never thought about this before ;P
17. Name someone with the same birthday as you.
Captain John Smith, Sherlock Holmes...and Norman Reedus ♥
18. Name an obvious quality you have.
I don't give a thought to what other people think about me, I never have. It's served me well.
19. Do you have an all time favorite song?
Just Like Heaven by the Cure
Cowboy Romance by Natalie Merchant
Delicate by Damien Rice.....it gives me pre-series Sam/Dean feels
20. What type of friends do you like?
Most of my friends I've had for 20+ years now, I love that long history we have together, I really value it.
That sustsinabilty is something that I look for, I think I'm friend spoiled. Don't get me wrong, I have new
friends that have come into my life and I love the surprise that comes with getting to know them, peeling
back all the layers.

I hope I'm as good of a mom as I was blessed to have. It sucks not having our Moms huh?

Date: 2013-08-29 04:56 pm (UTC)I will not comment on Jar Jar Binks because we Gaiman buddies, but I will say the Cure is awesome, and I can show you movies so much worse than the The Cube. Muahahahahahaha

Date: 2013-08-29 05:14 pm (UTC)I am really sad I did not get to go see him in Cambridge when he was doing his book tour this summer :( He's amazing. He has a story he's recorded "how to talk to girls at parties"...you can dl it for free if you go to his website. I don't know if it's still up but it's WONDERFUL.
for the record I am NOT a JarJar fan, it was just a thing I couldn't stop.

Date: 2013-09-07 04:31 pm (UTC)Have you had arrhythmia all your life, or is it a recent complication?
If I had to marry a fictional character . . . I would marry both Sam and Dean together. Polygamy, yes please! I don't even need sex with them. I would just watch them go at it. Wow, I've got issues. Anyway, it would be healthier considering . . . one or both might have caught something. LOL. If it wasn't for disease I would be such a slut, just like Dean.
We can totally share Dean.

Date: 2013-09-08 09:52 pm (UTC)I've had a murmur for a few years, and the arrhythmia for a few more, but really sporadically...(I had lots of radiation to my chest due to Hodgkin's disease when I was younger. It all kind of started then) This SUPER FREQUENT HYPER craziness just started and it's making me crazy. The doctors say it's stress, well let me tell you, it's hard to fucking relax when your heart is gulping, swallowing, hiccuping, jumping, and fluttering around like a moth at a screen door.
I don't need the sex either, I'll be happy making them grilled cheese and toweling them dry after showering :P like a house elf
