I woke up this morning to find out that my state has become the first to pass same sex marriage by popular vote. YAY US!!! I tried to stay awake and watch the polls from the comfort of a sleeping bag on my couch and everytime I coughed what felt like glass I woke up enough to look at the tv. Kind of an anticlimactic way to have your life change but I have no control over the virus that has  set up shop in my throat.

So...what now you ask? Well, I see TWO BIG FAT WHITE WEDDING DRESSES in our future ;P and music and dancing and our son dressed in a tux finally and what the hell, how about a tropical honeymoon? yes, yes?

Some Republican friends didn't get why *I* cared about marriage equality, as if I shouldn't. I had to point out that A) it's just right, damnit, and B) I have some very awesome friends I care very much about who deserve it. And you do! :D

thank you for supporting us! We have a 17yr old son. My best friends just had twins this year. I care less about the marriage part and more about the family piece. All of our children deserve to have their parents recognized as such. It's such a huge win.
