Some friends of mine are working on a Marriage Equality video and asked if we would share some family photos. As you all know my "baby" is still in Costa Rica and looking at these pics I was scanning today just made my mind blow. I can't believe how long we have been a family and that I used to have a little baby and that now he is all grown up and flying from the nest. OMG! I thought I'd share a few of my favorites.

He is two weeks old in this picture and I just wanted to eat him up....after all babies are delicious!

OMG what a cute baby! I love the Christmas one and the one right after it where he is sleeping. Why are babies so so so precious when they are asleep? I believe it's to lull the unsuspecting into parenthood- sort of like Nature's used car salesman pitch, "See how easy it is? They pretty much just stay like that until college. So how about we go get them papers signed, eh?" :D :D

So this comment is ten thousand years overdue, as I've had this open in a tab since you posted it, so I could think of something meaningful to say? Alas, words fail me, but the general gist of what I wanted to get across is: YOUR FAMILY SO LOVELY! And your boy! SO FREAKING ADORABLE. (would love to see a more current pic... bring one with in October?!) But seriously, this whole post is just utterly heart-warming. Especially that last pic (<333), it's epic. The love is palpable and you're both absolutely gorgeous.

<3 AWWW YOU! Thank you for your sweet words. It's so funny to see these pics. On one hand I think what babies we all were, it was forever ago....and then it's omg, didn't this just happen? I am so lucky to have had Abe and then to have Wendy just drop into our lives so seemlessly. It's a pretty good deal.
